George Stouton turned 1 in Sun Valley

Once again I apologize for not posting in such a long time. We have had a lot going on and I just can't seem to find the time to blog anymore.

In March we went on a ski trip to Sun Valley, Idaho with my family. We had such a wonderful time. George is almost as good of a skier as I am which is very exciting for me. This means we had fun on the mountain instead of cursing the mountain! Except for one day when he decided to follow me and I went the wrong way! It was a white out snow storm, the winds were blowing at 50mph (literally blowing us across the mountain), and we were stuck in powder up to our knees. Everyone should have been there it was so much fun! I mean we were the only two people on the mountain. There was not a skier in sight and if George and I got more than arm distance apart we could not see each other. Needless to say three hours later we were at the bottom of the mountain and miraculously still speaking to each other!

our other exciting news from the trip is that George Stouton started walking! And he celebrated his 1st Birthday which is also very exciting but makes me a little sad. I don't feel like he is a baby any more, he is turning into a little boy very fast. :( He spent his days having lots of fun at the day care on Dollar Mountain. He went sledding for the first time....not so sure what he thought about that but he sure did look cute in his snow suit! He had lots of fun playing with the other kids and then getting to play with his cousins when he got home from the day care.

To celebrate George Stouton's Birthday, I picked him up early from day care to come hang out at the slope side. It was a beautiful day and he loved all the excitement. The best part was the band sang happy birthday while he walked around up front in front of everyone. It was so cool, he showed out perfectly! We had a family birthday celebration at the Saw Tooth Grill. Not only did George Stouton have his first cake, he also had his first lamb chop. George ordered a rack of lamb and George Stouton was obsessed with sucking on the lamb bones(that is what he has in his mouth in the picture). He got do dig into a beautifully delicious chocolate cup cake with green icing. He really enjoyed that!
